Save Southport Library

It is time to take action over the so called cultural centre in Southport-that is the Art Gallery, Library and Arts Centre. The dire state of the buildings has been revealed to councillors. Failure to act now could lead to the complex being closed and boarded up. A minimum of £8m is needed to keep the buildings open. If we are to spend that sort of money then we can lever in significantly more cash to do a proper job. The full report is in the download section of the website and there is a link at the foot of this article. More information-including photos will follow
